OUR PROGRAMS

Industry leaders from 60+ companies have reviewed RFPs, evaluated and shaped curricula, assessed potential talent, and trained program teams to effectively support the development, delivery and evaluation of 10 new and expanded programs designed to equip candidates for 21st century jobs. It is through these investments that the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline and its partners define what works, align training and education solutions throughout the city, and deliver quality jobs for New Yorkers and quality talent for New York’s businesses. 


SERIES A: IT 

Series A: IT is a part-time program, designed for eligible New Yorkers with no previous professional tech experience. With curricula developed in partnership with NYC employers and training delivered by Per Scholas, this 20-week program is a flexible path for New Yorkers, offering part-time training and connections to full-time employment as entry-level IT Engineers upon completion of the program. 

SERIES A: QA 

Series A: QA is a part-time program, designed for eligible New Yorkers with no previous professional tech experience. With curricula developed in partnership with NYC employers and training delivered by Per Scholas, this 15-week program is a flexible path for New Yorkers, offering part-time training and connections to full-time employment as entry-level QA Analysts upon completion of the program. 

CUNY TECH PREP

CUNY Tech Prep is an industry-designed course for computer science majors in the CUNY senior college system. Developed and delivered with the CUNY Institute for Software Design and Development and industry leaders, CUNY Tech Prep provides students with an opportunity to learn applied skills at no cost through an intensive 8-week, java-based, full-stack web application development sprint, followed by a semester of additional project-based coursework and a connection to tech jobs post-graduation.

TECH JOBS ACADEMY

Tech Jobs Academy, a collaboration between Microsoft Corporation, the NYC Tech Talent Pipeline, and CUNY’s New York City College of Technology (City Tech), serves New Yorkers who are passionate about technology and ready to launch a new career in the field. Students spend 16 weeks developing highly sought-after skills in cloud and server administration and the professional skills needed to secure and excel in careers following the program. 

MOBILE DEV CORPS

 Mobile Dev Corps is a full-time, intensive training program, designed to train New Yorkers with no prior experience in web or mobile development to become production-ready mobile developers. Delivered in partnership with the Flatiron School, participants will complete four months of hands-on training and connections to jobs in technology.

SERIES A: DATA

Series A: Data is a part-time program, designed for eligible New Yorkers with no previous professional tech experience. With curricula developed in partnership with NYC employers and training delivered by General Assembly, this 12-week program is a flexible path for New Yorkers, offering part-time training and connections to full-time employment as entry-level data analysts upon completion of the program. 

TTP RESIDENCY @ QUEENS COLLEGE

TTP Residency is a three-month program designed to connect local talent to paid technical internships at tech businesses throughout New York City. Delivered in partnership with the City University of New York’s Queens College and the NY Code and Design Academy, TTP Residency connects qualified CUNY computer science majors to local businesses throughout NYC.

BROOKLYN TECH TRIANGLE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM  

The Brooklyn Tech Triangle Internship Program (BTTIP) is a three-month training program providing work-based learning and supplemental technical skills to Brooklyn-based students. Delivered through a partnership between the  NYC Tech Talent Pipeline, Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, CUNY's New York City College of Technology (City Tech) and the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, BTTIP provides work-based learning experience and supplemental technical skills to undergraduate students.                                   

NYC WEB DEVELOPMENT FELLOWSHIP

The NYC Web Development Fellowship is an intensive, 22-week training program designed to equip New Yorkers with the skills necessary to launch careers in web development. The current iteration of the Fellowship serves foreign-born New Yorkers who are authorized to work in the United States. In partnership with the Flatiron School, with support from the Robin Hood Foundation, training is provided free of cost to participants and includes five-months of on-campus training, and connection to jobs in technology.
